Treatment Description

The PDO face lift is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure that harnesses the power of PDO (Polydioxanone) threads to lift, tighten, and rejuvenate sagging facial skin. During the procedure, the biocompatible PDO threads are strategically inserted into the target areas of the face, such as the cheeks and jawline. These threads act as a support structure, lifting the skin and repositioning it to a more youthful position. As a result, the appearance of wrinkles, jowls, and sagging cheeks is significantly reduced. The PDO face lift offers several advantages over surgical facelifts, including reduced risks, minimal downtime, and natural-looking outcomes. The procedure carries a lower risk of complications and infections compared to invasive surgeries. Recovery time is significantly shorter, allowing individuals to quickly return to their daily activities. Moreover, the PDO threads used in the procedure gradually dissolve over time, leaving behind new collagen strands that continue to provide a lifting effect. Pre-treatment ► 10 days prior to the treatment: - Avoid taking aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as Ibuprofen, Advil®, Motrin®, Nuprin®, Aleve®, Celebrex®, Fish oil, Ginkgo Biloba, St. John’s Wort and high doses of vitamin E as these may cause increase risk of bleeding and bruising at the treated site(s). - Regular multi-vitamin and Tylenol® is permitted (If not contraindicated) - If you have any history of Herpes Simplex (cold sores) on your face, please inform us - Avoid dental procedures - Avoid direct sun exposure 24 hours prior to the treatment: - Avoid alcoholic beverages as this can increase the risk for bleeding and bruising at the treated site(s) - Avoid waxing, bleaching, tweezing, or the use of hair removal creams in the area(s) to be treated - Eat a small meal or a snack before your appointment Aftercare ► - Keep the head upright and avoid touching the area(s) for at least 6 hours after the treatment - Avoid heat exposure such as sunbed / sauna for at least 48 hours - Avoid strenuous activities or vigorous exercise for 24 hours - Avoid activities with high pressure such as diving and flying for 72 hours - Avoid any form of facial treatment or massage for 1 month - Avoid dental procedures for 2 weeks - Strictly no laser treatment for 2 weeks - Use SPF 50 daily.
