PDO Neck Lift

Treatment Description

The PDO neck lift is a non-surgical procedure that focuses on lifting and tightening sagging skin in the neck area using PDO (Polydioxanone) threads. During the procedure, these biocompatible threads are carefully inserted into the skin of the neck, creating a supportive network that lifts and repositions the tissue. This leads to a reduction in the appearance of sagging, wrinkles, and fine lines in the neck region, resulting in a more youthful and defined contour. The procedure allows for precise placement of the threads to target areas of concern, such as turkey neck, double chin, and neck wrinkles. The threads can be adjusted and tailored to meet individual needs, resulting in a more personalised and natural-looking outcome. Moreover, the PDO threads gradually dissolve over time, leaving behind new collagen fibers that continue to improve the skin's texture and appearance. Pre-treatment ► 10 days prior to the treatment: - Avoid taking aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as Ibuprofen, Advil®, Motrin®, Nuprin®, Aleve®, Celebrex®, Fish oil, Ginkgo Biloba, St. John’s Wort and high doses of vitamin E as these may cause increase risk of bleeding and bruising at the treated site(s). - Regular multi-vitamin and Tylenol® is permitted (If not contraindicated) - If you have any history of Herpes Simplex (cold sores) on your face, please inform us - Avoid dental procedures - Avoid direct sun exposure 24 hours prior to the treatment: - Avoid alcoholic beverages as this can increase the risk for bleeding and bruising at the treated site(s) - Avoid waxing, bleaching, tweezing, or the use of hair removal creams in the area(s) to be treated - Eat a small meal or a snack before your appointment Aftercare ► - Keep the head upright and avoid touching the area(s) for at least 6 hours after the treatment - Avoid heat exposure such as sunbed / sauna for at least 48 hours - Avoid strenuous activities or vigorous exercise for 24 hours - Avoid activities with high pressure such as diving and flying for 72 hours - Avoid any form of facial treatment or massage for 1 month - Avoid dental procedures for 2 weeks - Strictly no laser treatment for 2 weeks - Use SPF 50 daily.
