Treatment Description

Profhilo® is a revolutionary injectable treatment designed for bio-remodelling the skin, offering powerful hydration and anti-aging benefits. Made with high concentrations of hyaluronic acid (HA), Profhilo® contains 64mg of HA in each 2ml syringe, which is one of the highest HA contents available in an injectable treatment. Unlike traditional dermal fillers, which are used to add volume or structure, Profhilo® is focused on enhancing skin quality by stimulating the natural production of collagen and elastin. Profhilo® is renowned for its bioremodelling capabilities, meaning it helps restore the skin’s firmness and elasticity by rehydrating it from within. The treatment is ideal for individuals experiencing sagging or tired-looking skin, particularly around the face, neck, and décolletage. Two to three treatments are needed four weeks apart. In some cases, a fourth treatment may be necessary. Treatments will then need to be topped up every 6-12 months, dependent on skin quality. The longevity of results can vary between individuals. However, the full results will appear in two weeks post-treatment.  Pre-treatment ► 10 days prior to the treatment: - Avoid taking aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as Ibuprofen, Advil®, Motrin®, Nuprin®, Aleve®, Celebrex®, Fish oil, Ginkgo Biloba, St. John’s Wort and high doses of vitamin E as these may cause increase risk of bleeding and bruising at the treated site(s). - Regular multi-vitamin and Tylenol® is permitted (If not contraindicated) - If you have any history of Herpes Simplex (cold sores) on your face, please inform us - Avoid dental procedures - Avoid direct sun exposure 24 hours prior to the treatment: - Avoid alcoholic beverages as this can increase the risk for bleeding and bruising at the treated site(s) - Avoid waxing, bleaching, tweezing, or the use of hair removal creams in the area(s) to be treated - Eat a small meal or a snack before your appointment Aftercare ► - For facial injection, keep the head upright and avoid touching the area(s) for at least 6 hours after the treatment - Avoid heat exposure such as sunbed / sauna for at least 48 hours - Avoid strenuous activities or vigorous exercise for 24 hours - Avoid activities with high pressure such as diving and flying for 72 hours - Avoid any form of facial treatment or massage for 1 month - Avoid dental procedures for 2 weeks - Strictly no laser treatment for 2 weeks - Use SPF 50 daily.
